Stephanie Martin most recently co-directed one episode of the feature film BERLIN, I LOVE YOU which sold at Cannes. Stephanie is currently developing a feature based on the subject matter of her award winning short film, WILD HORSES, starring Mireille Enos (THE KILLING, THE CATCH) and Brooke Shields, a drama about the plight America’s wild horses.

Stephanie Martin has an intimate but strong directorial voice. Her work is honest and visually rich which she credits to her background in Cinematography. Originally from Argentina, Stephanie got her start as a set lighting technician on independent films before working on more mainstream features (such as World War Z and EAT PRAY LOVE), shorts, documentaries and commercials. Recently, Stephanie lensed the Lifetime film UNDER THE BED for Director Dan Myrick (her second collaboration with him), and served as A camera operator on FreeForm’s THE FOSTERS.  Most recently, Stephanie had the opportunity to direct the full cast of Freeform's Party of Five for their debut Promo.  In addition, Stephanie has shadowed Creators Peter Paige and Bradley Bredeweg on Freeform's Good Trouble, Garry A. Brown on Agents of Shield,  Uta Briesewitz on the CW’s JANE THE VIRGIN and Jann Turner on ABC’s THE CATCH. Most recently, Stephanie directed and served as Cinematographer on three upcoming commercial spots for: UK clothing line Palava, jewelry designer Dale Hernsdorf,  and Argentina's Arrecifes Brewery. Stephanie continues to DP when time allows, having most recently shot the opening night film for the HA film Festival to be screened by HBO.   Stephanie credits the fact that she is fully trilingual and bicultural to her being at ease working anywhere her job may take her. Stephanie received her BA in Political Science and French at Wellesley College, her MFA in Cinematography at the American Film Institute, and is a graduate of the AFI DWW. She is a member with Iatse local #600. With passports from the US, Brazil and Germany, Stephanie speaks English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
